A reflection of the work I did this week...

A lot was done this week. We now have a shell of the basic game loop coded, and the basis for a lot of things to come. Everyone was super diligent, and I'm very impressed of what we were able to get done as a team. I was mostly on the duty of patching up the level scripts- and that's where most of my work went. The player, initially, couldn't even finish the level, much less see the mirrors we were planning on implementing, but a lot of codework for it was partly completed around that time.
So, given this fact, I actually got the mirrors spawning randomly. The teleportation code needs work, and while we haven't been able to fix that yet, we at least have some proof of concept work and psudeocode done. Additionally, I was able to even set a goal for our map! It's rudimentary and only spawns a message near the player, stating that they've won, but progress is progress. While the game still needs more work to properly play over multiplayer, we're getting pretty dang close to setting everything up!
Here's some video footage of a mirror being generated in a room, and then not being generated in the same room after a reload. The goal is, like I said, incomplete, so there isn't much to show on that front. But, now, this means we can add more content to rooms! This opens the floodgates significantly for things like pickups, props, and so on. We just need to give it some more tweaks, and it should be good to go!
